    Is anybody watching Westworld?

Kojima himself said he sees it as inspirational. It’s about a wild west themepark with robots that look human. It’s kind of slow, but it’s interesting to see what happens each week.

It doesn’t really have the same amount of charm that the original two had. Here’s some gameplay:

I do like how it’s got the original tracks though.

BTW, has anybody ever really had a chance to play Daytona 2? I’ve been emulating it and it’s pretty good.

Mine would probably be Sonic 3. Back when I got it at launch, I played through it almost every week. When Sonic & Knuckles came out, I played through all of that too. I’d always get all of the super emeralds every playthrough too.

    Good times.

How about Sonic Crackers? It was the beta for Knuckles’ Chaotix. There’s a rom out there that you can fiddle around with, but I’d love to see a complete version:

Whenever I’m in Seattle, I always make a trip to Beth’s. Their specialty is a 12-egg omelette that comes with unlimited hashbrowns. It’s so big that they give it to you on a pizza tray.

I think it was on Man vs. Food too.

I gotta get into the Persona games..I own 2,3,4 but haven’t really played them cept 4 for 10hrs..Dunno why I stopped playing it on the vita.

You’re definitely in for a treat. The games are long (about 60 hours on average), but stick with it.

It’s all about Persona 5 and Sonic Mania for me. Both have a great vibe to them that channel what made both series great.

I’m cautiously optimistic for Final Fantasy XV.

I dunno, it seems like Dead Rising 4 is more of a misstep for the series. It seems like they’re missing the point of the series – I liked how the time limit forced you to think smart. You had to plan your playthroughs down to a science if you wanted to get the best ending. Without that time limit, you’ve just got another open-world sandbox.

Plus, Dead Rising 3 was just so-so. I liked the psychopaths, but the endless fetch quests and sprawling world full of roadblocks rubbed me the wrong way.

A recent gameplay build was leaked yesterday, if anybody is interested:

While it’s true that this punishes early adopters, I like the fact that they’re supporting both consoles. If it was like the New 3DS and its exclusive games, that wouldn’t be right. However, offering an enhanced experience is fine with me.

I just don’t know why they’re releasing the Slim just two months before. Guess it’s for those that don’t want to wait…

Actually, Def Jam Fight for NY was the sequel. The original was Def Jam Vendetta.

Vendetta was alright, but never really grabbed me. I’d love something that built on the over-the-top modes of Fight for NY.

Don’t know if it’s a guilty pleasure or not since it’s actually a good game, but my friends and I always seem to come back to Def Jam: Fight for New York on the PS2. The wrestling is top notch, and some of the match types are great. Trying to damage cars, dodge subway trains, and throw down in power plants (all as Flava Flav or Snoop Dogg) is really fun.

I wish it got a sequel (ICON doesn’t count).

I thought the Direct was kind of weak. Mario Maker on the go looked good, but then they said you can’t upload courses online. The 2D Pikmin seems more like a filler game too. Woolly World does look pretty good though.

I’d love to see a portable F-Zero. Heck, just port over GX and I’ll be happy.

You had me at the blatantly Sega font that Mr. Robot has going on. Is this on Netflix?

Mr. Robot is on USA, but I believe you can watch it on Amazon Instant Video. Hopefully it’ll make its way to Netflix soon.

Stranger Things was great. I think Twin Peaks would scratch that itch.
