Did anyone play the Fatal Frame on Wii U? That seems like the perfect implementation of the controller outside of feeling like a big awkward DS.
I’m usually in the middle of playing the games I’m supposed to be reviewing but there are tons of games I’ve been meaning to try and play through. I’ve been working on finishing Dragon Age: Origins for something like 20 years now. I started a new game of Paper Mario for N64 a few days back. Warlock of Firetop Mountain has been taking up my time and I absolutely love it.
I hadn’t played a light gun game in years but ended up at an arcade two days ago that had a gigantic sit down Jurassic Park. Players one and two are armed with cannon-sized light guns and it played just like The Lost World did previously. I’ve never owned a super scope but always wanted to pick one up for Yoshi’s Safari. My favorites are easily House of the Dead 1 and 2. The multiple paths based on what you shoot makes for a better experience and the design holds up even in a retro way.
