Ender Magnolia Blooms Onto Switch Later in 2024

Once More Into the Breach

One of the most compelling Metroidvanias I experienced in recent years was a game called Ender Lilies: Quietus of the Knights. It was visually stunning, heartbreaking and full of intense yet fair challenge. Today, during the Nintendo Direct Partner Presentation, a sequel was revealed. It’s called Ender Magnolia: Bloom in the Mist, and it’s coming to Nintendo Switch sometime later this year.

Whereas Ender Lilies was set in a more medieval setting of knights and monsters, Ender Magnolia looks to take place in a dystopian future. Creatures called Homonculi are rampaging, and a girl named Lilac will have to defeat them to restore them to sanity. While mechanically this looks very similar to the first game, I’m excited to see how it distinguishes itself.

Honestly, just catch the gorgeous trailer for Ender Magnolia below. And stay tuned to HPP later this year for more details about when it will finally release on Nintendo Switch and probably other consoles.
