Tell Me a Story…
Well folks, I’d be lying if I said that the Nintendo Download for 3/23/23 was better than last week’s. But that’s hardly the same as saying it’s a bad one. There’s a few featured titles, My Nintendo sweepstakes for a newly released game and the usual sales and digital titles to enjoy. Let’s start with the latest entry in an alchemical masterpiece of a series.
Forbidden Alchemy
I honestly cannot believe that Atelier Ryza 3: Alchemist of the End & the Secret Key is nearly already here. Especially since it feels like I just ordered my own copy of the first Atelier Ryza game. Regardless, the new entry arrives tomorrow and promises a lot of fun for fans. Or if you play Nintendo Switch for generic sports games (and who doesn’t?) then you might enjoy MLB The Show 23. Lastly, there’s a fascinating sounding puzzle game called Storyteller, where you actively build the story as you play.
That’s hardly all. My Nintendo also has a promotion for Bayonetta Origins. You can enter for a chance to win a wall tapestry and pin set, both of which look pretty neat. Or if you prefer playing classic games a second time, Nintendo Switch Online is adding several games to their various libraries. NES gets XEVIOUS, SNES gets cool with SIDE POCKET, and Game Boy classic gets two great entries – Burger Time Deluxe and Kirby’s Dream Land 2! As someone that finally got the Expansion Pack, it’s nice to look forward to playing all of these games when I have the time.
Fishing For Savings
Since the MAR10 Day Wave 1 sales are still in effect, we’re going to solely focus on Game Guide for savings today. If you need something frenetic and violent, POST VOID is a trip for only $5.39. For something very different, try Right and Down for $5.99. Fans of hardcore platforming might enjoy ANGEL’S BLOOD for $7.99. Tactical fans can enjoy Warpips for half off at $9.99. And deckbuilder fans might like Urban Cards for $8.97.

Here’s a few more sales. For a touching story, there’s A Space for the Unbound for $15.99. Metroidvania fans can check out Astronite for $10.49. To go out in a blaze of glory, there’s BPM: Bullets Per Minute for $17.49. For something cute and challenging, try Blossom Tales II: The Minotaur Prince for $10.49. And for a demonic good time, try Demon Turf for $14.99.

Now let’s close out with some promising digital games. If you enjoy games with a focus on storytelling, try these – Demon Hunter: Chronicles from Beyond, Monorail Stories, Rakuen: Deluxe Edition and Song of Memories. Have the need for speed? Try Flashout 3 and Gripper. To catch some grub, try Isle of Jura Fishing Trip. Or for some fun puzzles, there’s Numolition and Overloop. To party with friends, get Scramballed! Or for a monstrous fighting game, try Omen of Sorrow. Platformer enthusiasts should check out Kraino Origins and Lila’s Tale and the Hidden Forest. Last but not least, deckbuilders might enjoy Pirates Outlaws.
