Greetings Travelers! Today we’ll be taking a look at a few things potentially popping up for patch 3.5 of Genshin Impact. As always, due to the volatile nature of leaks, everything you see here is subject to change, and I also have no control over if and when these references will remain up or be deleted down the road. There’s also a load of potential spoilers ahead, so keep this in mind if you continue reading.
First and foremost, there’s been a leak as to the order of events to expect from 3.5, courtesy of @Genshin_Intel, and found via this Tweet.
It’s interesting to see a few returning events and the next quest to feature Dainsleif, but what interests me the most is that last entry. For those unaware, Alice is Klee’s mother, and is considered an extremely powerful polymath in her own right. What the plans are for her in this upcoming update certainly has me curious.
Moving on, we can take a look at the newest characters that’ll be in the 3.5 banners. First up is Dehya, a 5-Star Pyro Claymore user.
Her moveset, from what I’ve been reading off of this Twitter post from @genshinmains_, she seems like she’s going to be sub-DPS or hypercarry. Her Elemental Skill puts down a Fiery Sanctum that does AOE Pyro damage as a coordinated strike when one of your characters attacks. This move changes depending on if there’s already a Fiery Sanctum down or not. Her Burst is pretty simple, just beat the hell out of whatever’s standing in front of you.
Next up is Mika, a 4-Star Cryo Polearm wielder.
Interestingly enough, he’s like a hybrid between a Polearm user and a Bow user, being able to use his Elemental Skill in a similar way to Bow users aiming their charged shot. After reading through his kit, he definitely is in a fine position for a team. His Burst gives everyone healing when they attack an opponent, meaning he can handle healing, support buffs, and even a little bit of Cryo Bow usage. Definitely gonna be a 4-Star to pull for. He gets even better with his Talents, which you can read the full details on this Reddit post here (I didn’t post it in here as the images will be shrunk, and that text is really small anyway).
As an extra bonus, we already have the Ascension Materials, courtesy of @sipsipsquad on Twitter.
Lastly, we have a look at a new enemy set to debut called the Cryo Abyss Lector, found via this Reddit post. I’ll note that there is no source on this one, but that said, I did also later find a small video clip showing Dehya and Mika fighting the Cryo Abyss Lector, so the image below holds up.
I certainly was wondering when we’d see a new Abyss Lector, been a bit since the last one.
That’s all for now, but be sure to stay tuned for more of the latest Genshin Impact news and guides!
