Ryza Has The Key To Unlock Adventure

Today the good folks at KOEI TECMO America and GUST revealed new details for the latest in the Atelier Ryza games, Atelier Ryza 3: Alchemist of the End & the Secret Key. This exciting RPG adventure is slated to release on PC, Switch, PS4 and PS5 on February 24rd, 2023. Better yet, we can now discuss some key details (get it?) for the end of the Secret trilogy.

Though fans are used to item synthesis in the Atelier games, in Atelier Ryza 3 they’ll get access to Evolved Synthesis. You’ll be able to improve the quality of the item, level of the recipe and quantity of resulting creations as well, all thanks to the mysterious new keys. Ryza can also do something called a Link Morph, adding certain effects, as well as some items having super traits that allow the production of amazing new creations. Keys affect battle as well, not only strengthening characters but removing the wait time, allowing continuous skill and attacks!

As for the premise in Atelier Ryza 3, here’s a quick snapshot:

A 25th Anniversary title of the long beloved Atelier JRPG franchise, Atelier Ryza 3: Alchemist of the End & the Secret Key follows fan-favorite alchemist, Reisalin Stout, and her mischievous friends on their third summer adventure as they set off to investigate a group of mysterious islands that have suddenly appeared, adversely affecting the stability of their hometown, Kurken Island.
