Defy Lady Luck and Order a Fantastic Indie Next Week

Okay, now Super Rare Games has really done it. They’ve taken one of my favorite, super challenging indie games and given it the SRG treatment! Or to be more accurate, they’re going to starting next week. They’ve teamed up with Terry Cavanagh to bring his deck-building rogue-like Dicey Dungeons physically to Nintendo Switch!

I first experienced Dicey Dungeons a while ago, and really enjoyed the game. So much that I wound up buying it again when it came to Nintendo Switch. And while I’m very happy with that decision, now I’m faced with the dilemma of buying it again physically. But this is most assuredly a title that deserves the extra love. It’s colorful, crazy and super creative, and features the stellar artwork of Marlowe Dobbe. The game takes simple to understand mechanics of using dice rolls to fuel attacks, and adds another level of nuance to everything. Each of the 6 playable characters has a different way they attack, and there’s all sorts of achievements to keep you playing until you finally reach Lady Luck.

If you’re ready to roll the dice, here’s the info you need. Dicey Dungeons will be available on the Super Rare Games storefront starting next week on September 22nd at 10AM PT. Better yet, this edition will have all the DLC added in, on top of the beautiful extras like the collectable cards and instruction manual. There’s going to be 5000 copies printed, so you should have a fair shot if you act quickly.
