Nintendo Download for 9/15/22

A Magical Nintendo Download

Nintendo Download | Kirby's Return to Dream Land Deluxe

Well guys, how about that Nintendo Direct the other day? I was blown away by the reveals, especially the Fatal Frame and Fire Emblem news. While many of those games are still a few months away, any Nintendo Download that happens the same week as a Direct is better. So the Nintendo Download for 9/15/22 is pretty great! Not only are there several featured titles, there’s a couple demos, tons of games to pre-order, a handful of epic publisher sales and more. Let’s start with the return of a classic adventure game.

Monkeys Improve Everything

Nintendo Download | Return to Monkey Island

While I’m not super familiar with the Monkey Island series, I know it has a pretty huge fanbase. So if you grew up with the adventure series or just want to discover what the fuss is about, you’ll enjoy Return to Monkey Island. Point and click swashbuckling is only a few short days away! Next up, the folks behind greats like Triangle Strategy made something new called Various Daylife. While far from the best name for a game, it looks like a fun RPG adventure. Lastly, we have Bear & Breakfast, a cute little management sim with abundant charm. Though that’s all for today’s featured titles, let’s continue with demos and pre-order opportunities.

If you’re a fan of trying before you buy, here’s a couple you can get your hands on. First up is the dramatic life sim Harvestella, coming out in November. Next is the nightmarish horror of Resident Evil Village Cloud. That one comes in late October, so you have plenty of time to try out both. Now, if you’re ready now to pre-order some of the amazing games announced during the Nintendo Direct, here’s a few you can reserve right now. Those titles include the following – It Takes Two, Kirby’s Return to Dream Land Deluxe, Romancing SaGa -Minstrel Song- Remastered, Sifu, Theatrhythm Final Bar Line and Tunic!

Normally here’s where we’d move onto the Game Guide sales. But there’s three epic sales happening, so we’re gonna cover those real quick. First up is the Blockbuster Sale. It goes from today until 9/25 and offers up to 70% off a wide roster of titles. Here’s my highlights – Capcom Fighting Collection, Cris Tales, Cuphead, Disco Elysium – The Final Cut, Hades, Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, Life Is Strange: True Colors, Loop Hero, Monster Hunter Rise + Sunbreak, No More Heroes 3, Shin Megami Tensei V, Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove and Sonic Colors: Ultimate.

Next we have the 505 Publisher Sale. That one lasts until 9/24, and though it has less overall games, there’s still some great stuff. That includes the following – Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night, Drawn to Life: Two Realms, Ghostrunner, Grow: Song of the Evertree, Horace and Indivisible.

Lastly, SEGA refuses to be left out! Their sale lasts until 9/25 and offers up to 80% off several great games. Here’s my picks – 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim, Catherine: Full Body, Puyo Puyo Champions, Shin Megami Tensei III Nocturne HD Remaster, Sonic Mania, Sonic Origins, Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania and Team Sonic Racing.
