Never Say Never
Over the last year, there were reports that due to complaints from the agency of Takuya Kimura, who serves as the model of lead character Takayuki Yagami as well as his Japanese voice actor, that the Judgment games could not release on PC. This cast doubt as to whether the series would continue at all, with PC releases becoming an increasingly important part of Sega’s portfolio.
Whatever issues may or may not have existed, they seem to have been resolved as Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio revealed this morning that both Judgment and its sequel Lost Judgment will release tomorrow on Steam.
The first Judgment will retail for $39.99 while the sequel will be $59.99, though it includes the school stories DLC, which was an additional $4.99 purchase on console. The Kaito Files expansion to Lost Judgment will also be available for $29.99. A digital deluxe bundle for $98.87 will feature all of this content, so if you want it all, that’s definitely the way to go. We have reviews of the PC versions of both Judgment and Lost Judgment available, so make sure to check those out.
