Ramping Up

Hype is starting to build for Splatoon 3 which brings the squid kids back to the Switch September 9th. To help celebrate the new game, Nintendo will release a special edition Nintendo Switch OLED. It will beat the game to retail, releasing on August 26th.

This special edition OLED isn’t the only thing Nintendo are releasing to hype up their latest Splatoon. A special edition Pro Controller themed around the game will release on the same day as the game, September 9th.

This special edition console is fully decked out. Custom Joy-Cons, a customer Switch itself, and a custom dock all look great. This is the Switch I’d be grabbing if I were in the market for a new one. You can get an idea whether this will be the Switch for you with the trailer below.
