RWBY: Arrowfell Shares New Trailer, Gameplay Details

The Hunt Begins For a Fall Release Date

RWBY: Arrowfell | Featured

I’ll admit to not knowing a ton about the universe of RWBY. But I know plenty about WayForward and Arc System Works and have heard good things about Rooster Teeth. So much so that I’m increasingly excited about upcoming action adventure title RWBY: Arrowfell. The game is coming to PC, Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Series X|S in Fall 2022. And just going from the latest trailer, it’s shaping up to be something special.

RWBY: Arrowfell | Dialogue

For those that are giant fans of RWBY, here’s the good news about RWBY: Arrowfell. It sticks to the continuity of the series, and features the titular Huntresses – Ruby Rose, Weiss Schnee, Blake Belladonna, and Yang Xiao Long. What’s really cool, from a design standpoint, is you can instantly switch between any of the 4 girls. This opens up complex platforming possibilities thanks to Semblances, such as creating platforms with Weiss’ Glyphs or using Blake’s Shadow to activate pressure plates. Better yet, you’ll accrue skill points that you can then use to boost each character’s attributes, from melee damage to energy regeneration.

RWBY: Arrowfell | Mammoth

Not good enough? Well, the original cast will also return to reprise their roles, and RWBY: Arrowfell will even feature lush animated cutscenes. But honestly, I’ll just let the fantastic trailer below speak for itself. Be sure and check it out, and stay tuned to HPP for more news about this upcoming team effort from Rooster Teeth, Arc System Works and WayForward!
