Ten Years Later
It’s hard to believe that Dragon’s Dogma released ten years ago. It still feels like it just recently came out. To celebrate this anniversary, Capcom released a video talking about the history of the game and everything that has come of it, including a Netflix animated show. They saved the biggest news for last though, announcing that Dragon’s Dogma II is in production. Director Hideaki Itsuno is back on board and like most recent Capcom titles it is being made in the RE Engine.
To be clear, no other details were revealed. Platforms, how far along it is, a release window, none of that was revealed. There’s no footage either, though we do have a logo at least. Still, while this may not be as much news as fans would like, I think most will just be happy to know that the series is going to continue. You can watch the full anniversary video, including the announcement of Dragon’s Dogma II, below.
