A Stunning Artistic Adventure
We’ve all played tons of epic adventures over the years. But sometimes the games that affect us most are more grounded in reality. Like say a story about an aspiring artist on the cusp of finishing their latest project. Behind the Frame is already available on Steam and mobile. But as of this June 2nd, it’s also coming to consoles. Specifically, the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4!
If it’s not already apparent, Behind the Frame is inspired by the art style of Studio Ghibli. It aims to tell an evocative story through this paint and click adventure. You’ll retouch paintings and relive accompanying memories. Best of all, the game is laid back and lets you play at your own pace. But if that’s not enough, here’s some more reasons to check the game out when it launches on consoles.
Behind the Frame’s console release will be accompanied by a new update to all versions of the game. It provides an alternate story to get caught up in, as well as something nifty. Using the Switch touchscreen or the Sony touchpad, you can actually paint in a realistic fashion in the game. Which, although gimmicky, sounds like an interesting new way to play.
Be sure and check out Behind the Frame this June. And stay tuned to HPP for more promising games published by Akupara Games.
