Nintendo Download for 4/28/22

Rolling Into May

Nintendo Download | Marble Maid

I know last week’s Nintendo Download was a bit barebones, but this week makes up for it. The Nintendo Download for 4/28/22 not only has a bunch of featured titles, but also new promotions, games coming to Switch Online, special sales and so much more to check out. Let’s start with a game I’m a bit flabbergasted is actually getting remade on Nintendo Switch.

Take a Trip

Nintendo Download | Bugsnax

Back in the Wii era, I was totally fine with Wii Sports. It was free, it was simple, and surprisingly fun. But I have a very different stance towards Nintendo Switch Sports. For one thing, the Switch wasn’t built with motion play in mind. Sure, it can adapt, but do you really want a special strap to attach a Joy-Con to your legs? For another, this costs a good amount of money, like most modern games. Unless they add a bunch more content to this game, I think it’s a misfire. But luckily we have other featured titles today. If you love tycoon management games but felt they needed more dinosaurs, you will love Parkasaurus. And if you like strange adventures, then you have to try out Bugsnax. Now let’s see what’s coming to Nintendo Switch Online.

Three classic SEGA games are making a home on Nintendo Switch Online. One is about everyone’s favorite blue blur. That game is none other than Sonic the Hedgehog Spinball. The other two are a bit different. Tactical fans are sure to enjoy Shining Force II, while fans of shooting things in space can try out Space Harrier II. Some great additions to the Online library.

We’re nearly done with the opening portion, but first some other promotions. Fans of the pink puff can still enter a sweepstakes to win a goodie bag based off Kirby and the Forgotten Land until May 2nd. You can also spend some cash to get really nifty Pokémon Legends: Arceus swag. And fans of Animal Crossing can check out a fancy coaster set. Though apologies, since the link to that page is giving nothing but a giant error message currently. Now let’s continue the Nintendo Download with some sales.

Team Up for Savings

Nintendo Download | Dandy & Randy DX

I hope you love Capcom, cause they’re having another Golden Week sale. It lasts from today until May 15th, and offers up to 70% off a huge roster of games. The following are my picks for what you should check out. Those games are Devil May Cry 3 Special Edition, Ghosts ‘n Goblins Resurrection, The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles, Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin, Onimusha: Warlords, Resident Evil 4, Resident Evil Revelations and Revelations 2, Shinsekai Into the Depths and the Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection.
