Experience a New ARPG in Asterigos: Curse of the Stars this Fall

Save the Day and Defy the Gods

Asterigos | Hero

It’s been a little while since I was captivated by a game set in the ancient past. The last game to grab my attention was Immortals Fenyx Rising. Now tinyBuild and Acme Gamestudio have another called Asterigos: Curse of the Stars. It’s inspired by Greek and Roman high fantasy and developed by a Taiwanese-based indie developer. Better yet, Asterigos is coming to PC and consoles (Sony and Xbox) this Fall.

Asterigos | Shield & Sword

The game is slated to have Souls-like difficulty and flexible combat options. The heroine of the game is named Hilda and she can use all sorts of weapons to destroy the monster-infested City of Aphes. What’s especially neat is Hilda can dual wield, and switch between on-hand weapons at a whim.

Asterigos | Daggers

Here’s some more great details about Asterigos:

Featuring dozens of different monster varieties to encounter, and over twenty boss battles to test your mettle against, the cursed City of Aphes will challenge you fully before letting you unravel its deepest secrets. Discover the truth behind the curse through side-quests, forgotten documents and even Hilda’s own diary of sketches, observations and thoughts.

Asterigos | Monsters

I think the game looks pretty promising already. If you’re not sure, please check out the trailer below. And stay tuned to HPP for more promising games being published by tinyBuild.
