Sora And Friends Explore A Brand New World
During their Kingdom Hearts 20th Anniversary presentation over the weekend, Square Enix dropped some big news for fans including new spin-offs and mobile games coming soon. The biggest news of all though is undoubtedly the official confirmation and first trailer for Kingdom Hearts IV.
Looking at the first trailer, this is clearly a major departure for the series. It features a brand new art style, most evident from looking at series’ protagonist Sora. He still looks like himself, but now with a much more realistic look. This matches the look of the world he’s exploring in the trailer, one called the Quadratum.
The Quadratum appears at first glance to have a lot in common with our world. People have cell phones, they drive cars, there are skyscrapers everywhere. Of course our world doesn’t have giant invading heartless, or a keyblade wielding anime kid to protect us from them. Luckily for the Quadratum, Sora is around.
We don’t have a date or too many specifics on this one just yet, but hopefully Kingdom Hearts IV doesn’t take as long as the third title did. You can check out the trailers for all the new Kingdom Hearts titles coming below.
