Nintendo Download for 3/24/22

The Unforgotten Nintendo Download

Nintendo Download | Crystar

Well folks, today is a special day for a Nintendo Download. Why, you ask? Simply because the Nintendo Download for 3/24/22 heralds the release of the newest Kirby game! As a longtime fan of the series, I’m really hyped for the first truly 3D Kirby adventure. But that’s not all for today’s Download. We also have another great featured title, a special publisher sale and the usual fun and games. Let’s start with a game I’m chomping at the bit to pick up tomorrow.

New World, Same Hero

Nintendo Download | Kirby and the Forgotten Land

Kirby and the Forgotten Land really has the potential to be a groundbreaking new adventure for the pink puffball. And after playing the demo, it really seems likely it might live up to that potential. It’s a gorgeous game set in a mysterious world full of danger. And the fact you can do new things like use Mouthful Mode and upgrade Kirby’s powers really has me hyped. If you’re not convinced, please stick around in the coming days for my review of Kirby and the Forgotten Land to convince you! The other featured title is one I’ve been hoping would make the Switch for a while. It’s a mournful and deep game about fighting through your own pain and neuroses called Crystar. All I know is the reviews I’ve read about it make the story sound really engaging, even though the combat is purportedly a bit repetitive. Either way, I welcome any unique title that makes a home on Nintendo Switch.

Also, if you need more Kirby time (and who doesn’t?), there’s a bunch of other games available on the Nintendo Switch. Some you can get just for having a Nintendo Switch online membership, like Kirby’s Adventure, Kirby’s Dream Land 3, Kirby Super Star and Kirby’s Dream Course. But you can also pay a little change for other titles like Kirby Star Allies and Kirby Fighters 2. So what are you waiting for? Go and check these great games out if you haven’t already! Next, we’ll continue today’s Nintendo Download with a special publisher sale.

Don’t Be Afraid of These Sales

Nintendo Download | Ikai

Now, I’m not always a fan of Ubisoft. But since they do occasionally publish something rad, we’re gonna cover their latest sale. It doesn’t have a special name, but I guess it’s an early Spring sale. It lasts from today until 4/6, and offers robust discounts on several titles. Here’s the ones I think you should check out – Immortals Fenyx Rising, Scott Pilgrim vs. the World The Game – Complete Edition, South Park: The Stick of Truth and South Park: The Fractured But Whole Gold Edition. To see full details for this sale, just click here. And don’t forget about the Capcom and Square Enix sales we covered last week, both of which are still happening for a couple days.
