Testament Rounds Out The First Pass
Guilty Gear fans continue to see the newest iteration of their beloved series see strong support. While the first Season Pass is coming to an end, that is absolutely not the end for -Strive-.
Rounding out the first Season Pass is Testament. Originally an unlockable boss in the very first game in the series, Testament skipped the Xrd titles but is now back. What’s more, they’ve recently been confirmed by the development team to be agender, going by they/them pronouns. Testament has long danced around gender as has fellow series favorite Bridget, but has in the past still been referred to by male pronouns. It’s nice to see the developers moving toward inclusivity with the character.
While Testament marks the end of the first Season Pass, there’s more to come. Four more characters will be coming in a newly announced Season Pass Two. Arc System Works are also working on implementing crossplay so that those on PS4, PS5, and PC can all face off online. That’s great news for the fighting game community as we move toward the next EVO in a few months, which -Strive- is absolutely a part of. Check out the trailer for Testament below.
