Take Flight With Guardians Of The Galaxy On Game Pass This March

Or Try A Simulation

Game Pass may have ended February on a somewhat slow note, but they’re flying back to the skies, and beyond, in March. Let’s take a look at the games which are coming during the first half of this month.

Far: Changing Tides (Cloud, Console, PC) – Available Now (Our Review)

Microsoft Flight Simulator (Cloud) – Available Now (Our Review)

Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII (Console, PC) – March 3rd

Kentucky Route Zero (Cloud, Console, PC) – March 10th

Lawn Mowing Simulator (Xbox One) – March 10th (Our Review)

Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy (Cloud, Console, PC) – March 10th (Our Review)

Young Souls (Cloud, Console, PC) – March 10th

There’s a lot of quality on that list. The biggest game is almost certainly Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy, the thrilling adventure that captured a lot of hours from me last fall, despite a few bugs at launch which have mostly been corrected at this point. If you enjoy a good story in your games, then this is a must play.

If you want to take to the skies but not quite to space, Microsoft Flight Simulator is now available for cloud players. This one was already available on Game Pass, but only on consoles. Considering it’s a next generation exclusive, this is the first chance those still playing on their Xbox Ones will have to enjoy it. Those players will also be able to enjoy Lawn Mowing Simulator as it finally comes to Xbox One.

A pair of new releases are also ready to get players excited. Far: Changing Tides is a beautiful, mechanical game which puts you in control of a ship in a post apocalyptic world. Young Souls looks to bring a lot of style to the beat ’em up genre later this month. You’ll also be able to finish Lightning’s journey if you’re a Final Fantasy fan, or check out the brilliant, surreal, look at Americana present in Kentucky Route Zero. Originally released in episodes over a seven year period, now you can check it out all at once.

Like most months, we’ll be saying goodbye to a few titles in March. On March 15th Nier: Automata, Phogs!, Torchlight III, and The Surge 2 will leave Game Pass. Now’s your chance to check them out, or buy them with the Game Pass 20% discount while you can.

He enjoys most genres but is always pulled back to classic RPG's, with his favorite games ever including Suikoden II, Panzer Dragoon Saga, and Phantasy Star IV. Don't worry though, he thinks new games are cool too, with more recent favorites like Hades, Rocket League, and Splatoon 2 stealing hundreds of hours of his life. When he isn't playing games he's often watching classic movies, catching a basketball game, or reading the first twenty pages of a book before getting busy and forgetting about it.
