Now You’re Switching With Portals: Portal Companion Collection Coming In 2022

Another Chance To Protect Your Companion Cube

Portal

It’s been a long time since Valve published anything outside of Steam but that’s changing in 2022. Portal: Companion Collection brings both Portal and Portal 2 to Nintendo Switch this year.

Portal

While we don’t know the exact date yet, this definitely seems like strange timing. The Steam Deck is set to release later this month and will give players an option to play these games on the go. That Valve decided to release some of their most popular games on the closest thing to a competitor their platform will have is a strange choice.

Portal

Still, we’re not complaining. More players having access to these classics isn’t a bad thing. We’ll let you know when we know more about your chance to Switch it up with GLaDOS, but for now check out the trailer below.

Andrew Thornton
Andrew has been writing about video games for nearly twenty years, contributing to publications such as DarkStation, Games Are Fun, and the E-mpire Ltd. network. He enjoys most genres but is always pulled back to classic RPG's, with his favorite games ever including Suikoden II, Panzer Dragoon Saga, and Phantasy Star IV. Don't worry though, he thinks new games are cool too, with more recent favorites like Hades, Rocket League, and Splatoon 2 stealing hundreds of hours of his life. When he isn't playing games he's often watching classic movies, catching a basketball game, or reading the first twenty pages of a book before getting busy and forgetting about it.
