Battle Against Entropy In Mandragora
As someone that’s always on the watch for a great new Metroidvania adventure, I’m especially happy to share today’s news. Marvelous Europe has announced it will be publishing Mandragora. A dark, fantasy adventure developed by Primal Game Studio. It features lush, painterly artwork and takes place in a world in decline. Monsters have overrun things, and you’ll have to fight back, eventually stepping through portals into Entropy in your quest.
Best of all, Mandragora is a game that’s coming to pretty much every modern console. That includes PC, Switch, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. While they haven’t specified a release date yet, I suspect this one might be worth the wait. The music is composed by Christos Antoniou, which is sure to liven up the somber world of the game.
Better yet, Mandragora will feature a morality system, so your decisions will have real weight that impacts which ending you get. And like many great examples of the genre, you’ll be able to tool how your hero grows in the adventure.
