Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes Gives Fans Reason To Hope This June

Something To Tide Us Over Until The Next Main Game

Fire Emblem Warriors

In recent years the Dynasty Warriors team have worked hard to create spin-offs set in popular worlds. We’ve seen them visit Hyrule, Dragon Quest, Persona, and more. One of the more popular collaborations they’ve released however is Fire Emblem Warriors. First released in 2017 for Nintendo Switch and Nintendo 3DS, it proved a fit and many fans have been able to experience this world since.

Now, nearly five years later, a follow-up is on the way. Revealed during today’s Nintendo Direct, Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes focuses in on the world of the latest mainline Fire Emblem game, Three Houses. That means favorite characters like Edelgard, Byleth, Claude, and Dimitri will all be available. Details beyond that are currently light but as someone who put far too much time into Three Houses, I’d love to see these characters again.

Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes is set to launch for Nintendo Switch on June 24th, 2022. Check out the first trailer below.

Andrew Thornton
Andrew has been writing about video games for nearly twenty years, contributing to publications such as DarkStation, Games Are Fun, and the E-mpire Ltd. network. He enjoys most genres but is always pulled back to classic RPG's, with his favorite games ever including Suikoden II, Panzer Dragoon Saga, and Phantasy Star IV. Don't worry though, he thinks new games are cool too, with more recent favorites like Hades, Rocket League, and Splatoon 2 stealing hundreds of hours of his life. When he isn't playing games he's often watching classic movies, catching a basketball game, or reading the first twenty pages of a book before getting busy and forgetting about it.
