Start 2022 With New Memories
One of the biggest surprises of Nintendo’s September Direct was the reveal of Kirby and the Forgotten Land. For the first time in the series’ thirty year history we’re getting a full 3D Kirby platformer. While on paper this could make fans nervous, seeing the first trailer made me a believer. Nintendo looks to have captured the feel of the series perfectly and lost nothing in translation to an extra dimension.
Today’s trailer makes me even more excited. Showing off a wide variety of Kirby’s powers, it looks like the variety the series is known for is still well represented. So are many of Kirby’s traditional friends and foes. You look to be rescuing Waddle Dees throughout the game and your old foe Meta Knight makes an appearance.
Initially announced for a spring release, Nintendo got more specific this time. Kirby and the Forgotten Land is set to launch on Nintendo Switch on March 25th. Check out the latest trailer below if you want to see more of what Kirby has in store.
