Time To Face Your Demons
Pagan Min, the iconic villain of Far Cry 4, is making a comeback in the second major DLC for Far Cry 6 which is available next week.
The aim of the Season Pass for Far Cry 6 is to flesh out and add new depth to previous antagonists as seen with the previous DLC Vaas: Insanity. In Pagan: Control players will have the opportunity to dive into the character’s fractured psyche as he is confronted with his guilt and regrets. Pagan Min was one of the more morally ambiguous villains of the series and the new DLC also provides an opportunity to explore his past with Troy Baker returning to reprise the role.
At the moment there’s no trailer but the DLC is expected to follow a similar structure to Vaas: Insanity which was significantly different from the base game. Players will have to battle against an onslaught of enemies in five roguelite mind levels. The season pass manages to put a twist on the genre with the psychological aspect and unique visuals which are influenced by the psychology of each villain. Pagan: Control can not be purchased as a stand-alone title and players must own Far Cry 6 in order to play through the DLC.
The final installment in the Season Pass Joseph: Collapse focuses on Far Cry 5 villain Joseph Seed and is expected to launch later this year.
Pagan: Control will be available on 11th January on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, Stadia, as well as Windows PC through the Ubisoft Store and the Epic Games Store.
