How To Kill Your Friends And Slaughter Alien People
Another month, another set of Game Pass titles. December has some big additions though, with none being bigger than the Xbox Series X|S’ arguably biggest title yet in Halo Infinite. Let’s check out the list.
ANVIL (Console, PC) – December 2nd
Archvale (Cloud, Console, PC) – December 2nd
Final Fantasy XIII-2 (Console, PC) – December 2nd
Lawn Mowing Simulator (Cloud, Console, PC) – December 2nd (Our Review)
Rubber Bandits (Cloud, Console, PC) – December 2nd
Stardew Valley (Cloud, Console, PC) – December 2nd
Warhammer 40,000: Battlesector (Cloud, Console, PC) – December 2nd
Space Warlord Organ Trading Simulator (Cloud, Console, PC) – December 7th
Halo: Infinite (Cloud, Console, PC) – December 8th
One Piece Pirate Warriors 4 (Cloud, Console, PC) – December 9th
Aliens: Fireteam Elite (Cloud, Console, PC) – December 14th (Our Review)
Among Us (Console) – December 14th
That’s a lot of games! Let’s get the giant elephant in the room out of the way first. Halo Infinite’s multiplayer modes are available now for all players including Game Pass subscribers, but the campaign releases December 8th, allowing players a chance to have fun alone as well. If its anywhere near as fun as the multiplayer modes we’re all in for a good time.
If you want other multiplayer action though, there’s plenty to choose from here. Aliens: Fireteam Elite lets you squad up in the world of Aliens and received a strong recommendation from us earlier this year. Rubber Bandits provides more of a party atmosphere in a physics-based brawler set to be played with friends. Or you can just do the obvious thing and grab Among Us, though that one is limited to consoles. It’s worth noting that the wonderful Stardew Valley now supports full multiplayer as well.
The amount of games releasing with the word simulator on the end recently has become a little absurd. There are two of them in this update alone! Apologies to Lawn Mowing Simulator which could provide some zen vibes ,but few stand out just from the title like Space Warlord Organ Trading Simulator. A name like that tells me this is one I have to check out. It’s hitting day one on Game Pass.
While plenty of games are joining the service during the first half of December, we do have to say goodbye to a few titles which will be leaving December 15th. Now is as good a time as any to play them, or to grab a permanent copy with the Game Pass discount if you can’t get to them these next couple weeks. They are Beholder (Our Review), The Dark Pictures: Man of Medan, Guacamelee! 2, Wilmot’s Warehouse, Unto the End, and Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair.
