Ho, Ho… Snail?
December really is shaping up to be a great season for gifts, thanks in part to Weird Beluga Studio. They’re bringing their unique and fascinating twin-stick shooter, Clid the Snail, to PC next month. As someone that was captivated by the weird style of the game when it was first announced, but unable to play it on on Sony consoles, this is especially welcome news.
For those unfamiliar with Clid the Snail, I’d recommend you check out HPP’s PS4 review. Or if you’re feeling lazy, just check out the blurb below instead:
Clid the Snail is a dark fable about a grumpy humanoid snail armed to the radula. Clid the exiled snail joins forces with a peculiar gang of outcasts and is tasked with the mission to eradicate a wide-spread slug plague. The top-down twin-stick shooter encourages creative gun play with its vast array of weapons and mechanics, alongside exploration and puzzle solving while exploring a grim-looking world.
As for what variations of PC the game will come to, keep reading. Clid the Snail is coming to Steam, Epic, GOG, Humble and GeForce NOW on December 15th. Best of all, this version of the game will come complete with controller support. So if you wanted to jump on the bandwagon but couldn’t before, get ready for slimy goodness this December!
