Nintendo Download for 11/25/21

Time For a Totally Normal Nintendo Download

Nintendo Download | DEEEER Simulator

Well folks, you have one more reason to be thankful today. Because the Nintendo Download for 11/25/21 is here! I honestly wasn’t sure if that would be the case, since in previous years it’s been hit or miss whether it happens on the holiday. And while it’s not a giant Nintendo Download, there’s some tasty morsels to enjoy. A couple really interesting featured titles, some Cyber sales and more. Let’s start with a game about totally normal forest animals.

Strange and Wonderful

Nintendo Download | Little Bug

I normally avoid almost every sim game. But when I come across one as strange as DEEEER Simulator: Your Average Everyday Deer Game, I have to pay attention. This game takes deer in weird places. You can smash through the city, fight mutant animals and uncover dark secrets. If you want something a bit more grounded in sanity, check out Little Bug. You play a young girl trapped in a fantasy world that can only navigate with the help of a spirit light. Or if you just want to try out a demo today, you can try the zany fun of Miitopia. Next up, let’s check out some Nintendo Download sales worth munching on.

Doing Things a Bit Differently

So, sales are going to be a bit different today. I won’t be doing the usual Game Guide sales, mostly so we can cover a bunch of holiday themed savings. First up are the Cyber Deals. There are some Cyber Deals happening from today until the 30th. And while that’s normally something to cheer about, I personally found the selection lackluster. But since I also own way too many games, I’m gonna list the Cyber Sales highlights for those that are still interested in any of these titles. Just keep in mind the best discount for these particular deals is 50% off. So here’s the games I’d get, based primarily on price and savings – Castlevania Advance Collection for $14.99; Cuphead for $13.99; Cyber Shadow for $15.99; Dead Cells for $14.99; DOOM Eternal for $23.99; Hades for $17.49; Immortals: Fenyx Rising for $19.79; The Messenger for $7.99; Ori and the Will of the Wisps for $17.99; Persona 5 Strikers for $29.99; Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove for $21.99; Shantae and the Seven Sirens for $20.99; Spelunky 2 for $15.99; Tetris Effect: Connected for $26.79; and Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes for $14.99. Totally Original

Now, in lieu of listing all the other holiday sales individually, I’m instead gonna bundle the best games from each into one section. Those sales are happening courtesy of the following publishers – Capcom, EA, Sega and Konami. Here’s what to look for while these last – Arcade Classics Anniversary Collection; Catherine: Full Body; Citizens of Space; Contra Anniversary Collection; Contra: Rogue Corps; Lost in Random; Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate; Okami HD; Resident Evil Revelations 1 and 2; Skelattack; SolSeraph and Unravel Two. One More Dogfight

Nintendo Download | DoDonPachi Resurrection

Let’s close out this Nintendo Download with some digital goodies. Retro fans can check out Arcade Archives RAIMAIS and Dumpy & Bumpy. Adventure fans can feast on Cabin Fever and Starlight Shores. Those that enjoy puzzles might enjoy Doctor Who: The Edge of Reality, Night Lights and Surviving the Aftermath. For something totally odd, try Tank De La Muerta. Those looking for frenetic action can try a bunch – Asterix & Obelix: Slap them All!, RoboShark Rampage and Shiro. To blast monsters to smithereens, try Dead Effect 2. And for Shmup madness, try DoDonPachi Resurrection.

Not a bad extra course, if I say so myself. Thanks for tuning in on Turkey Day for your latest Nintendo Download. And check back with HPP next for the first Nintendo Download of December!
