Here’s Everything Revealed in the Genshin Impact 2.3 Livestream

MiHoYo Paves the Wintry Way for Genshin Impact’s 2.3 Patch

Greetings, Travelers. Today we’ll be looking at some of the things that were confirmed as of the 2.3 Livestream for Genshin Impact.

First and foremost, here are the codes for some free Primogems featured on the livestream:

For the first time ever, we’re getting two character rerun banners at the same time. Albedo and Eula will both be up and running at the same time when 2.3 drops. For those curious, pity will be shared amongst the two banners, and both banners will have their own sets of four-star characters as well. Lots to choose from here!

Once those banners run their course, we’ll be seeing Gorou and Itto get their banner. Adding to that, Itto will be having his story quest pop up as well once he drops. His signature weapon, Redhorn Stonethresh, will also be coming in the weapon banner alongside Itto’s character banner.

In case that’s not enough fun with our favorite characters, we’ll be receiving two new Hangout Events! One for Gorou and one for Beidou.

We’ll be seeing two new artifact sets arrive as well, pictured down below, that will be obtainable in a new domain set to appear on Seirei Island.

Next up, we’ll be seeing the arrival of the Golden Wolflord as a World Boss, so everyone can gather up those character ascension materials from the brand new rocky danger noodle.

There’s also going to be a new event being hosted in Dragonspine called Shadows Amidst Snowstorms, an event focused on the Adventurer’s Guild getting together some noobie and veteran adventurers alike for some snowy training.

This chunk of story content will be showing up after the dual rerun banners. One of the things we’ll be getting to experience during that event is some Agility Training, featuring some ice barricades on a race down Dragonspine. There’ll also be a skill-based Tracker Training where you’ll need to melt piles of ice. Lastly, there’s a combat event featuring enemy lures that’ll cause Sheer Cold to accumulate quicker and buff enemies, alongside some mechanisms that, when activated by Scarlet Quartz, will change the lure into a heat source and will make energy regain at fixed intervals.

As a cute little extra, the ability to make snowmen on Dragonspine will be added.

You can get materials for the snowman through the Ice Tracking and Combat Training events for the Shadows amidst Snowstorms event. You can also get rewards for building these snowmen, including getting a free four-star sword called Cinnabar Spindle.

There’s going to be a stealth mission event called Bantan Sango Case Files: The Warrior Dog.

Inzuman animals end up going missing, and you go on a mission to retrieve them. Along the way, a mysterious dog with shadow clones patrol where the animals are kept. You’ll need to dodge the gaze of the doggy duplicates, or you’ll be attacked by them. There’ll be something called the Ubiquity Net that will stun the clones, and you can also use fog machines and fireworks to make distractions. This event will be giving out Primogems amongst other goodies, but one thing, in particular, to keep in mind is that, after the event, there’ll be a new gadget called the Omni-Ubiquity Net that’ll let you get more animal friends for the Serenetea Pot.

Next up, we have some returning events. The first is the Energy Amplifier Fruition, an event featuring a tweakable challenge domain that you can equip Fragmented Fruit Cores to help you beat.

The other event is the Misty Dungeon: Realm of Light, which lets you use a selection of trial characters and your own characters to do some dungeon runs.

Complete three trials tethered to special dungeon runes, then beat the main boss to earn rewards. We actually already have a guide on the site featuring this event when it first ran, so if you want to see some finer details, read up here. Just keep in mind there’ll be a few new trial characters and challenges this time around to freshen things up.

Lastly, we have Lieben making a comeback, with his Marvelous Merchandise.

Give the man a hand with some material gathering, and he’ll give you a special slime-themed gift box filled with goodies.

That’s all of wonderful events and goodies we get to look forward to for patch 2.3 on Genshin Impact. Be sure to stay tuned for more of the latest Genshin Impact news and guides!
