Practice Your Beatdowns in Young Souls During Steam Next Fest
Fans of stylish, co-op beat ’em up RPGs can rejoice today. The Arcade Crew will have a demo of Young Souls available to play during the Steam Next Fest, from October 1-7th. If you missed the details, it’s a game being developed by 1P2P Studio. And better yet, it’s eventually coming to pretty much every console. Those include Stadia, PC, Switch, PS4 and Xbox One in Q4 of 2021.
Young Souls focuses on the tale of two twins fighting against forces from another universe. They’re trying to save their mentor, and doing so will require hard work and practice. Once they’ve hit the gym and pumped some iron, they rage through dungeons fighting nightmarish hordes, getting new equipment and learning new skills.
Below is a quick recap of the premise of Young Souls:
Young Souls’ engrossing narrative follows Jenn and Tristan’s search for their guardian, a professor who mysteriously vanished just before the twins discovered an inexplicable portal within his estate. The duo now spend their days roaming their quaint town, gaining advantages through gym sessions and buying fresh outfits ahead of their all-night fights to clear dungeons brimming with foes. With the fate of their most cherished companion as well as the greater world in their hands, Jenn and Tristan must brave immeasurable dangers and endure the defining battles of their lives.
As someone that has yet to be disappointed by anything The Arcade Crew has published, I’m looking forward to trying the game myself. Be sure to check it out starting this Friday during the Steam Next Fest. And stay tuned to HPP for more news about titles being published by The Arcade Crew.
