PlayStation Fans Have Something To Look Forward To
Many games met with the mixed reception of Marvel’s Avengers would have given up by now. Despite not everyone loving the game, the team at Crystal Dynamics continue to provide great new content. Today they revealed that the previously announced Spider-Man will still be joining the game in 2021. On PS4 and PS5.
Spider-Man was announced prior to launch as a PlayStation exclusive character. Whether this is a tie to Sony’s movie rights for the character, or tied to the exclusive games Sony publish, we can’t say for sure. We can say though that after over a year of waiting, fans should get to play him soon.
He’ll join a wide variety of content that has released over the last year, such as the recent War for Wakanda expansion (Our review). That isn’t the only content coming this year either. A new raid will allow you to face off with popular foe Ulysses Klaw. A variety of previous content will be making a comeback as well.
Still, for all the listed additions, truly new content feels a bit sparse this fall. That’s particularly true if you’re not playing Marvel’s Avengers on a PlayStation console. Crystal Dynamics have promised that they’re nowhere near done with the game so perhaps spring will bring new characters and content. For now, check out a trailer for War for Wakanda below.
