Miyako Arima may only be a fifth-grader, but she packs some serious speed and power in Melty Blood: Type Lumina
Developer French Bread has put a gameplay trailer for Melty Blood: Type Lumina introducing the new character Miyako Arima.
According to her bio on the game’s official site, Miyako is a bajiquan master in training and the eldest daughter of the Arima branch family. She adores Shiki, who she considers her older brother, and becomes so nervous in his presence that she can barely speak. However, Miyako was devastated when Shiki was suddenly called back to the Tohno family. Despite only being 11-years-old, she’s a very powerful fighter. She is voiced by Japanese voice actress and singer Hisako Kanemoto.
From the look of her gameplay preview, Miyako seems to be a formidable rushdown character. With a solid mix of speed and power and a variety of mix-ups at her disposal to keep her opponents on their toes, she looks like she’ll be a welcome addition when the game launches next month.
