Genshin Impact Dreams of Sword Art Quest Guide
Welcome Travelers to a quest guide for Dreams of Sword Art. A nameless samurai is perched upon the cliffs wants nothing more than a quick spar with you. Why? Take him down and find out.
It turns out the poor soul’s another one that’s lost his Vision. While the memory’s hazy, he can recall two children sparring with swords and sends you to seek those words out and see if you can jog his memory a little. The sword will be on an island just off the coast of the Kujou Encampment.
Even after getting that sword, he still can’t make anything useful out of it, and his memories remain limited only to who he’s beat, and the one person he hasn’t: You.
Take him on once more, the fight remaining the same. Oblige his need for battle, and he’ll want you to name who you taught you your swordsmanship. No answers for him, but he does remember a wine he used to drink thanks to the sparring. A clue is a clue, so you can now go ask some soldiers about this wine. Talk to Matsudaira, and he’ll give you the information you need and then some, having a bottle of the stuff on him that you can give to the nameless samurai.
The wine doesn’t help much, but at least his name came back to him. His head hurts, and he longs for another battle to help fight his memory loss. Take down Masanori once again. The next thing his memory serving up for him is a sword that scared the crap out of him a long time ago.
Fetch him that sword, and he’ll lose his crap on you, leading to a fight you can’t step away from this time. Settle him down the old-fashioned way. This fourth defeat marks the end of his story, as he designates the rest of his past as a lost cause, finding peace in what little he does remember. You’ll have earned 300 Adventure EXP, 40 Primogems, 4 Hero’s Wit, and 30,000 Mora.
