Goldlewis Dickinson Kicks Off Guilty Gear -Strive- Season Pass

Unparalleled Brute Strength

Goldlewis

Fans of Guilty Gear -Strive- have had a long month without any new characters to sink their teeth into. The game has been a big success since its launch last month, scoring a 4.5/5 in our review. Now all those who have picked up the game can enjoy some additional content. Goldlewis Dickinson will get the game’s first season pass going July 27th.

Goldlewis Dickinson is a new character in -Strive-. The Secretary Of Absolute Defense, he has a large role in the game’s story mode. Considering his unique model, it shouldn’t be a huge surprise that he’s joining the roster. He should bring a ton of power to the table however. Fighting with a coffin, a chain gun, and a lazer eye certainly helps him fit in with the insanity that is Guilty Gear.

This is just the start of new content that’s coming. Another character is set to release next month with one more planned for 2021. Then in 2022 we’re set to get an additional two characters, two additional maps, and a new story addition. Fans of the series shouldn’t worry about even that being the end either. It doesn’t seem a coincidence that this is labeled “Season Pass 1” and not just “Season Pass.” You usually don’t include the 1 if you aren’t planning on making a 2.

For those who don’t have the season pass, you’ll be able to get Goldlewis as well but you’ll have to wait a few more days. He’ll go on sale individually on July 30th. Are you looking forward to playing Dickinson? Were you hoping for someone else? Let us know in the comments and check out his first trailer below.

Andrew has been writing about video games for nearly twenty years, contributing to publications such as DarkStation, Games Are Fun, and the E-mpire Ltd. network. He enjoys most genres but is always pulled back to classic RPG's, with his favorite games ever including Suikoden II, Panzer Dragoon Saga, and Phantasy Star IV. Don't worry though, he thinks new games are cool too, with more recent favorites like Hades, Rocket League, and Splatoon 2 stealing hundreds of hours of his life. When he isn't playing games he's often watching classic movies, catching a basketball game, or reading the first twenty pages of a book before getting busy and forgetting about it.
