Genshin Impact Never-Ending Battle Overview
Greetings Travelers, today we’ll be looking at an overview of the Never-Ending Battle, the most recent event to hit Genshin Impact! There’s not much to it, so let’s hop right in!
You can start doing this little arena-based challenge by going to the event menu, selecting “Go To Challenge,” and then you’ll pick the challenge you want to do. Once selected, it’ll show you on the map where to go. For example, the first challenge is over at the Broken Isle of the Golden Apple Archipelago, just a touch south of the waypoint.
When you do these challenges, you can modify your battle’s difficulty by adding debuffs or extra challenges. The higher your score, the more rewards you get.
Another little mechanic for this is Momentum. Basically, if you beat Berserker enemies or destroy Berserker Discs, you can raise your Momentum. Momentum Discs can only be destroyed with your Wind-Blessed Harpastum, so make sure you have that ready. Get that high enough, and at certain thresholds, you’ll get buffs. Be warned, though, this stuff does decay over time.
When you get ready to start a challenge, you can modify your difficulty between Easy, Normal, and Hard. There’ll also be different buffs for that specific challenge, so keep in mind what’s buffed to maximize your damage potential. For example, take a look at the buffs for the first challenge here:
On top of having a detailed list of the Momemtum buffs you’ll be getting upon hitting their respective thresholds, you can also scroll down the list to see what all opponents you’ll be facing, letting you plan appropriately who to take with you.
At the end, you’ll be scored based on how many opponents you’ve killed.
The multiplier is key here; unless you can continuously kill faster than the game can spawn them, you’ll want to shoot for higher multipliers so you can net that gold medal. Another thing to keep in mind is that there can be multiple Momentum Discs out at once. When you press the key to equip your Wind-Blessed Harpastum, remember that it takes up the slot for your Elemental Skill. Some advice to keep in mind, switching characters cancels out the Wind-Blessed Harpastum, so switch to a different character, activate the Harpastum, sling it at what you need, then switch back to your DPS.
That’s all there is to our Never-Ending Battle Overview. Short but sweet, and an easy group of Primogems to cash in on while we wait ever so patiently for Inazuma. If you haven’t seen it yet, check out the video miHoYo put out showing off some of the stuff we’ll be seeing in 2.0 here! That’ll be all for now, friends, so stay tuned for the latest in gacha here at HPP! Until then, this is Cory, signing off!
