Remaster to include updated graphics, modernized controls, and more
Have you ever wanted to play the original Final Fantasy, Final Fantasy II, and/or Final Fantasy III, but have found yourself held back by the fact that they’re slow as molasses and haven’t aged particularly well in general? Well, you’re in luck, because Square Enix has announced that the Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster trilogy is on its way!
Remastered versions of Final Fantasy, Final Fantasy II, and Final Fantasy III, the Pixel Remaster versions of the classic Final Fantasy titles allow players to experience the retro feel of the classic Final Fantasy titles while also enjoying a more modernized gameplay experienced. - Redrawn 2D pixel character and background graphics, featuring iconic Final Fantasycharacter pixel designs created by Kazuko Shibuya, the original artist and current collaborator
- Beautifully rearranged soundtracks, overseen by original composer Nobuo Uematsu
- Improved gameplay, including controller and touch controls, modernized UI, auto-battle options, and more
- Dive into the world of the game with supplemental extras like the bestiary, illustration gallery, music player, and the ability to save at any time
Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster, featuring Final Fantasy, Final Fantasy II, and Final Fantasy III, will be available for PC via Steam and mobile devices starting July 28.
