Journey to the Strange Domain with Genshin Impact’s Legend of the Vagabond Sword Guide
Hello Travelers, Cory from HPP here to give you a little quick update on the most recent event to sweep the lands of Genshin Impact, the Legend of the Vagabond Sword! This guide will get you started on what to expect from the challenge, helping out new challengers, and refreshing the veterans. Before we begin, though, if you want to show off your skills, miHoYo is having a video contest with some rather nice rewards of merchandise and Primogems, so here’s the link for that. Get out there and strut your stuff, Travelers, and feel free to post the videos of your awesome runs in the comments below! Without further delay, let’s get into the guide now!
Genshin Impact Legend of the Vagabond Sword Guide
The first thing to note is where this challenge is located. It’s just south of Mingyun Village, on the coastline.
Once you head down there, you’ll see a familiar set of floating stairs leading to a door to the domain. Head on in, and you’ll see where you can select some different challenges, though as of right now, the only one available is the first challenge with the Primo Geovishap. Later down the road, we’ll be facing the Oceanid and Maguu Kenki, eventually winding up facing all three in one go!
For those unaware, the whole event focuses on using these modifiers to make the fights harder, thus earning you more points. Break certain point thresholds, and you will get rewards, though you’ll always get Primogems for at least finishing it once. You can do these challenges solo or with a buddy. You’ll also get bonuses depending on what character you choose to use.
The first challenge is with the Primo Geovishap, and its modifiers are along the lines of the following here:
You can up the general difficulty, which that one alone will add a multiplier that can quickly start bumping up the points you get. I’ve always advised you to start lower and work your way up, but the strategies you can use here really do vary on your playing style. The event doesn’t cost resin, so feel free to experiment. If you don’t use Hydro or Pyro, go ahead and up its resistance to that. If you find yourself killing it far quicker than you thought, put the time limit on. Sky’s the limit, and so is the battlefield, so do your best to wreck shop here, Travelers! That’s all for this guide on Genshin Impact’s Legend of the Vagabond Sword, and this is Cory from HPP, signing off!
