E3 2021: Lemnis Gate Brings Time Loops To PC, Consoles On August 3rd

A Turn-Based Strategy Shooter. Say That Five Times Fast.

Lemnis Gate

Have you ever found yourself looking at your library unable to pick a game? Maybe you’d like to play a strategy title. Or maybe a shooter sounds good. This August you won’t have to choose when Lemnis Gate hits a wide variety of platforms.

A turn-based combat strategy shooter, you’ll find yourself stuck in a time loop. You’ll need to defeat your opponents in ever changing matches. This futuristic world will reward planning and creativity with a wide variety of ways to defeat your enemies. You can even team up with your past selves to achieve what you need. Each match will last five rounds of a 25 second loop. Seven unique operatives will provide even more variety.

Lemnis Gate

A beta in the coming days will give PC players a chance to try before they buy. Xbox players will also get a chance to try things out as it will launch day one for Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S via GamePass. Sorry PS4 and PS5 fans. You can play but you’ll have to pay.

This is the rare case where a pre-order really may be worth your time. Those who pre-order will receive 20% off and an exclusive KARL operative and weapon skin, the Mettle Mantis.

Lemnis Gate is available to pre-order now. It will be $19.99 though that pre-order discount lowers it to $15.99. It will launch on August 3rd, 2021. Check out the latest trailer below and let us know what you think.

Andrew has been writing about video games for nearly twenty years, contributing to publications such as DarkStation, Games Are Fun, and the E-mpire Ltd. network. He enjoys most genres but is always pulled back to classic RPG's, with his favorite games ever including Suikoden II, Panzer Dragoon Saga, and Phantasy Star IV. Don't worry though, he thinks new games are cool too, with more recent favorites like Hades, Rocket League, and Splatoon 2 stealing hundreds of hours of his life. When he isn't playing games he's often watching classic movies, catching a basketball game, or reading the first twenty pages of a book before getting busy and forgetting about it.
