Genshin Impact Winding Homeward Way Guide

Lend A Seelie A Hand

Genshin Impact, Archipelago, Seelie, Sidequest

Trapped in a distant, foreign land.

Hello, again Travelers, Cory from HPP here bringing another little guide to help a familiar floaty friend find its way back home in the Genshin Impact sidequest Winding Homeward Way!

Genshin Impact Winding Homeward Way Guide

Near the Minacious Island, you’ll notice a giant gaping hole in the middle, and down that hole are going to be some Hilichurls gathered on ruins. Go ahead and ignore that for just a moment and look around the rim of the hole. There’ll be a Seelie floating around, and just as you would in the rest of Teyvat, you need to guide him back to the big mainland.

Thing is, with no totem to plant his floaty self in, you need to help him make a different way back home. He’ll escort you down to a ruined pillar, then make a sequence of Elemental signs illuminate on the pillar.

Element List, Seelie, Sidequest, Midsummer Island Adventure

May require some tilting of your head.

You’ll notice around the area, a bunch of corresponding Elemental totems you can light up as well. That said, keep in mind the orientation of the pillar. Does the Anemo symbol look a bit weird to you? It should, it’s upside-down! The correct order here is as follows: Cryo, Anemo, Pyro, Hydro.

Now, there are two different ways to handle this. The most obvious, but kinda awkward to do, would be to light them as you would anywhere else: Get a character of that element and use a skill or attack to activate it.

The easier way to do it is to look at the Twisted Rings you can pitch your Harpastum through to nail the upper totems quickly.

Hymnel Rings, Anemo, Pyro, Hydro

Gotta go for the trick shot.

The Anemo Twisted Ring is the only one moveable because you will be using that to propel your element-infused Harpastum through it. You’ll need to follow the order on the pillar still, but using your beachball will speed this up tremendously. Once you get that all figured out, you’ll see a very familiar black hole pop up that the Seelie will immediately flee into.

Sidequest, Black Hole

Yeah, just go into the dark, ominous orb. What’s the worst that could happen?

As you might’ve guessed, you’ll wander right back to Mondstadt! Right near the Teleporter between Falcon Coast and Windrise, he’ll lead you not far to a breakable pile of rocks concealing his little nesting totem.

Seelie, Destination, Totem

No place like home, right?

With your flying friend back, he’ll reward you with a Luxurious Chest!

Still, with all of this done, we still aren’t sure what exactly these black holes are. Got any theories yourself? We’d love to hear them down in the comments!

That’s all for this homeward stretch, so we’ll see you all on the next Genshin Impact guide! This is Cory from HPP Signing off!
