Hello Travelers, hope you all are ready for some more event leaks and character gameplay! While you’re all probably still soaking up the sun in the Golden Apple Archipelago, the party’s far from over. Leaks have surfaced for a shocking 1.7 four-week-long event of challenges, not unlike the current Midsummer Island Festival. Remember everyone to take anything you see here with a grain of salt. Let’s move like lightning right through to the best of the leaks!

The following pieces of information are all courtesy of @Genshin_Intel, so be sure to give them a follow. The leaked name of the event is “Following the Thunder’s Path,” and it’s all going to be heavily focused on Electro abilities, fitting for Inazuma.

The first event, as of typing this, is an electro-themed time trial that makes special use of Electro characters by buffing them. There also is mention of an Electrograna, which seems like something you can use to change a character’s element to Electro temporarily. These challenges seem pretty likely to feature combat-oriented challenges.

The second challenge will be similar, an electro-themed time trial challenge. This time though, there’ll be thunder bombs involved, charging up with Electro energy before detonating and dealing damage to anybody that isn’t attuned to Electro.

The third challenge will revolve yet another race against the clock, going from point to point with an extra buff to those charged with Electro. There’ll be little crystals you can “blink” to if you have an Electrograna or are Electro element.

Saving the best for last, the final challenge reveals more about the full-metal Hypostasis now revealed to be called the Perpetual Mechanical Array. Get done with the event dungeon and your first faceoff with this box of steel, and you’ll get to fight him as a weekly boss!

Still, no news on what kinds of nasty tricks this beastbox is gonna have to dish out damage, but we’ll keep our eyes opened for news on this new boss!

Want some news on weapons? Well, @abc64real has dug up a few new buried gems.

First up is Thundering Pulse, a powerful Electro-themed bow with a main stat of Crit Damage. Its damage-stacking effect for Normal Shots makes this a damn fine candidate for Fischl if you’re looking for a new bow for her, but I can definitely see Yoimiya making good use of this as well.

Next is Mistsplitter’s Reflection, a one-handed sword-shaped in the guise of an electro-charged katana. On top of an already decent 24% buff to Elemental damage for all elemental types right off the get-go, this sword will be giving an increasing Elemental DMG Bonus if you do normal attacks that have Elemental modifiers or if you use your Elemental Burst. This thing’s practically begging for either Ayaka or Keqing to use it, and with Electro finally slated for that serious buffing it needed, Keqing mains are gonna have it good for quite a while. I never thought I’d contemplate taking my Aquila Favonia off her, but this right here would do it.

And last but certainly not least, we have some news on Ayaka! @ProjectCelestia has gifted us a wonderful guide to everything you’ll want to know about our icy samurai!

I’ve been saving the best for last, and that’s a double whammy of leaked Electro Abyss Mages and Ayaka battle gameplay!

That’s all for now! I don’t know about anyone else, but I’m getting closer and closer to giving in and saving up for Ayaka and those lovely new weapons we’re looking forward to. Stay tuned for more of the latest in Genshin Impact leaks and rumors. This is Cory from HPP, signing off!
