Three Chances To Save The World
If you enjoyed the recent remaster of Crysis, you’re in for a treat this fall. The developers at Crytek have announced that this fall all three games will release as the Crysis Remastered Trilogy.
This is the first release for Crysis 2 and 3 since 2013. Releasing on a wide variety of platforms, you’re in luck if you want to play on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Crytek promised improved performance for those who play on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S as well.
Breathe a sigh of relief if you already bought the first title. Collections often leave early adopters out but this time you have an option. Individual released of Crysis 2 Remastered and Crysis 3 Remastered will be available, just as Crysis Remastered was. If you don’t want to double dip, you won’t need to. Crysis Remastered can be played now on all of these platforms.
“We’re excited to announce that these iconic Crysis games are returning in one bundle, remastered for a new generation of hardware,” said Crytek’s Steffen Halbig, Project Lead. “Each game is enhanced to look and play beautifully on today’s platforms, delivering the finest Crysis experience for both newcomers to our classic franchise or players wishing to relive the adventure.”
You’ll get to guide Prophet through all three games. In Crysis Remastered you fight through a group of islands in the Pacific on a rescue mission. Your Nanosuit gives you a wide variety of abilities to execute your mission and fight off an alien invasion. The aliens return in Crysis 2 Remastered and this time the fight comes to the Big Apple. An upgraded Nanosuit helps you fight them off once more. Finish the trilogy in Crysis 3 Remastered. You’ll need to save the world once and for all as you fight through New York City, now a rain forest protected by a nanodome.
Are you excited to return to the Crysis series? Or maybe you’re planning to check them out for the first time. Either way, you’ll have your chance this fall.
