Nintendo Download for 5/13/21

The Nintendo Download is Back!

Nintendo Download | World's End Club

Can you guys feel it? Summer is just around the corner. Which means this Nintendo Download for 5/13/21 is where things get good! That’s a relief, since last week was a little bare, content-wise. By contrast, this Nintendo Download has a few featured titles, events worth checking out, and the usual fun and games. Let’s start with a series leaving the sands of time and officially getting reborn tomorrow.

Put On Your Sleuthing Hat

Nintendo Download | Famicom Detective Club

I can’t quite express how excited I am for Famicom Detective Club. Despite never having played the original games, the remakes look tremendous. Yet because of the fact us in North America aren’t getting a physical edition, I keep forgetting about pre-ordering the game digitally for the bonus discount. So if you’re in the same boat, make sure you pre-order this today, at least if you’re interested. I personally think both The Girl Who Stands Behind and The Missing Heir look incredibly promising. Another game with a ton of potential comes out next week, and it’s called Aerial_Knight’s Never Yield. The quick way to describe it is like a long lost cousin to Bit.Trip games, but it’s more than that. You can read all about it when my review goes live next week! Lastly, if you want to explore an alien world underwater, you’ll enjoy Subnautica and Subnautica: Below Zero. See? Already better than last week’s Nintendo Download. Next up, let’s check out some special events.

  • Friends ’Til the End! – Renowned game writers Kotaro Uchikoshi and Kazutaka Kodaka return with the World’s End Club game for Nintendo Switch. The “Go-Getters Club,” a group of misfit students from all over Japan, find themselves trapped in a strange theme park during a class trip. In order to unravel the mystery of their circumstances and find an escape, they must take part in a “Game of Fate” that will test their bonds of friendship. Play the demo today and get ready for the launch of Word’s End Club on May 28.
  • New My Nintendo Rewards Appear! – A set of transparent, water-proof zipper cases inspired by the New Pokémon Snap game have been added to the Nintendo Store rewards collection. These colorful cases are great for storing important items when you’re out in the field, and they even feature the official seal of the Laboratory of Ecology and Natural Sciences (L.E.N.S.)! Can’t decide what to spend your My Nintendo points on yet? Check out the new pin set featuring a replica Platinum Point coin and Gold Point coin.
