Following a week of leaks, Bethesda and id Software plan to show off a DOOM Eternal: The Ancient Gods – Part 2 teaser trailer on March 15
Released last October, DOOM Eternal: The Ancient – Gods Part One breathed new life into id Software’s ultraviolent first-person shooter with brand-new levels and enemies for the DOOM Slayer to rip and tear into. Now, we’re about to get a fresh look at what awaits in the game’s second DLC campaign episode. Bethesda Softworks and id Software have announced plans to unveil the teaser trailer for DOOM Eternal: The Ancient Gods – Part 2 on March 15.
Bethesda and id Software made the announcement on the official DOOM Twitter account alongside some hellish promo art for the game. If this art indicates things to come, the DOOM Slayer will have an awful lot of demon blood on his hands when the DLC is finally released. Lucky for him, the new weapon, the Sentinal Hammer, looks like the perfect tool for knocking around unruly hellspawn.

This latest announcement follows several recent leaks regarding the highly-anticipated DLC. Earlier this month, a list of its achievements was leaked on Twitter. Then yesterday, an employee mistakenly leaked the game’s product page, complete with screens and cover artwork, on the Bethesda Softworks Digital Store. Naturally, the original listing has been pulled. However, the page is still accessible via the internet archives.
At the time of this writing, we’re not sure when DOOM Eternal: The Ancient Gods – Part 2 will release. Though given the teaser trailer and recent spate of leaks, it seems likely an official announcement could be right around the corner.
DOOM Eternal released on March 20, 2020 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. A surprisingly faithful port to the Nintendo Switch followed in December courtesy of Panic Button, the Austin-based studio responsible for bringing DOOM (2016), Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus, and Wolfenstein: Youngblood to the platform.
