Nintendo Download | Redout: Space Assault

Well folks, you know what day it is. Which means it’s time for another Nintendo Download! This week only has one featured title, but it’s one I’ve spent nearly a month with already. There’s also some new DLC coming to a variety of games, sales on some wonderful adventures and the usual digital fare. Let’s begin with a jaunt to Terraphage.

Have Harpoon, Will Teleport

Nintendo Download | Olija

Olija is one of those games that makes me thankful for Devolver Digital. I knew it was for me the moment I saw the first trailer, which is why I decided to review the game. It involves mystery, beautiful women, dangerous exploration and hideous monstrosities. It’s a lot of fun, and the centerpiece to the action is your teleporting harpoon. Think Mjolnir but in spear form, and you’re on the right track. If any of that sounds good to you, you can officially pick Olija up starting today. But that’s not all for this Nintendo Download. Keep on reading for new DLC coming to a bunch of games.

  • Viva Festivale! – February’s arriving soon, and that means love is in the air with a free update to the Animal Crossing: New Horizons game.* Celebrate the sentimental season with chocolate hearts and heart-shaped bouquets, which will be available for purchase through Nook Shopping, beginning Feb. 1 and running through Feb. 14. Also, on Feb. 15, Dancer Pavé will arrive to your island’s plaza to usher in some confetti and carnival spirit for a special Festivale event. You can prepare for the event in advance by shopping for Festivale clothing at the Able Sisters shop for a limited time, beginning Feb. 1.
  • Fulfill Fenyx’s Destiny – The newest DLC for Immortals Fenyx Rising has arrived – A New God. Overcome the legendary trials and challenges of the gods of Olympos to change the Greek Pantheon and fulfill your destiny. This DLC and two other narrative DLCs are available with the Immortals Fenyx Rising Season Pass.
  • Have a Nice Trip – In Fatal Falls, the latest individual DLC installment for Dead Cells, explore floating shrines, infiltrate the lair of an outlawed secret society and learn the tells of a new boss. On top of the new areas, you will also discover new weapons and enemies. You can also experience all three DLCs, including Fatal Falls, The Bad Seed and Rise of the Giant, in the Dead Cells: The Fatal Seed Bundle, available now.

Some Adorable Savings

Nintendo Download | Marchen Forest

For our first batch of sales this Nintendo Download, we have 5 great options. If you’re a fan of SHMUPs and rogue, you might enjoy Project Starship X for only $7.99. If you’re a fan of big discounts on bundles, Digerati has a couple really promising options. One is the Indie Darling Bundle Vol. 3, which includes such great games as Omega Strike and Nefarious for only $7.56. The other Digerati option worth mention is the Pixel Art Bundle Vol. 1. It has Bleed and Slain plus one more, and it’s only $5.69. Both those are normally upwards of $40, so I’d jump if you’re interested in any of the Digerati games I mentioned. Then, if you’re a fan of zombie horror, you can pick up both of the latest Resident Evil Revelations titles. Both the original and the sequel are currently only $7.99, which is pretty sweet.
