Because what game isn’t better with Neptune?
Azur Lane: Crosswave has already promised players a bevy of beautiful… erm… boats, but Idea Factory International, like the rest of us, knows that a bigger roster is always better. That’s why they’ve announced that Neptune of the Neptunia franchise will be available to download for free for a limited time once the game lands on Switch later this year!
What’s that? You want other free stuff, too? That’s an awfully greedy thing to say! Fortunately, IF’s got your back again, as it seems as though they’ll be stuffing even more content into the Switch version than ever before. Keep on reading to see just exactly what they’ve got in store for everyone.
- Taihou and Formidable, formerly DLC for the PS4/Steam version, are included as playable characters! Both come with 3 support characters each and additional story content.
- An updated Photo Mode: You can now pose up to 6 characters instead of 3 for more photo shoot fun! Get creative with new extended camera angles.
Azur Lane: Crosswave for Nintendo Switch sets sail later this year, on February 16, 2021, with the Neptune DLC sticking around from launch day up until March 16. IFI has also confirmed that this one-month period will be the only time that you can get the Neptune DLC; once it’s gone, it’s gone for good. Oh, and supposedly this version of Neptune is “exclusive to the Nintendo Switch and differs from the original limited-time release Neptune DLC released on PS4 and Steam,” whatever that means. Did you play Crosswave when it released on PS4 and PC? Will you be picking up the Switch edition? Let us know in the comments below!
