Cyberpunk 2077: Where To Find The Best Gun In The Game

Bum bum be-dum bum bum, Ri-han-na

You can actually find the best gun in Cyberpunk 2077 almost immediately after breaking into Act two. This gun actually scales to your level, so you’ll never need to upgrade its damage, on top of the fact that when the right conditions are met — it fires nothing but smart homing headshots for a whopping 24 automatic rounds. Yes, you heard me, 24 headshots in a row: guaranteed. This gun is so overpowered that I made it my primary weapon, as not only does it decimate absolutely everything in the game, but it also comes with its own talking AI; A Rihanna loving parody of Microsoft office’s Clippy

Skippy can be found in south Heywood at a quest just southeast of the stadium. You can loot him right off of somebody’s corpse. Technically a quest item, you can actually choose never to return Skippy to its original owner. When optimized and put into stone-cold killer mode, Snippy can fire 24 smart bullets in a row.

However, there is a catch because once you obtain Skippy, it immediately asks what mode to be placed in: Puppy (where it’ll only aim for the limbs) or Stone Cold Killer (where it only headshots). If you permanently want Skippy in Stone Cold Killer mode, pick puppy first. After 50 kills with the gun, Skippy will ask why you hesitate to kill/don’t kill in the first place. Tell Skippy either ‘you don’t know’ or ‘I’m not having a philosophical debate with my gun’ but NEVER SAY ‘KILLING IS WRONG’ AS IT’LL KEEP SKIPPY IN PACIFIST MODE. Afterward, Skippy jokingly picks the opposite mode you didn’t choose earlier and stays in that mode for the rest of the game.

There you have it—the best gun in Cyberpunk 2077. I hope you enjoy  Skippy as much as I had, and if you like, feel free to check out our full review of Cyberpunk 2077.
