DOOM Eternal made a BFG-sized splash on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC in March. Now, Bethesda Softworks is ending this year with a bang as the game arrives on the Nintendo Switch today.

The Switch version of the game was developed in partnership with Panic Button. The Austin, Texas-based studio previously worked on porting DOOM (2016)Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus, and Wolfenstein: Youngblood to the platform. As far as optimizations for the console go, the Switch version will include support for motion-controlled aiming using the Joy-Con, which can be used alongside traditional aiming using the controller’s analog stick.

In case you missed it last week during the release date announcement, check out the launch trailer below:

Here’s a rundown of the game courtesy of the publisher:

“Hell’s armies have invaded Earth. Become the Slayer in an epic single-player campaign to conquer demons across dimensions and stop the final destruction of humanity. The only thing they fear… is you.”

DOOM Eternal is now available on the Nintendo Switch eShop. Before you pull the trigger on that purchase, you might want to make some room on your SD card. The full game requires a whopping 17.5 GBs of free storage space.
