The King of Fighters XV to get a full reveal on January 7, 2021.
SNK today put out a new teaser trailer for their upcoming team-based fighting game The King of Fighters XV.
The trailer is short–painfully short–but it does a good job of getting us pumped for the latest entry in the long-running fighting game series. Set to some very KoF crunchy guitars, it features some concept art for the characters Benimaru Nikaido, Kyo Kusanagi, and KoF XIV‘s Shun ‘ei. Afterward, the video ends teasing a full reveal of the game on January 7, 2021.

This news follows our reporting last week that the Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s Electronic Gaming Development Company (EGDC) had purchased 33.3% of the Osaka-based company, making the Saudi Arabian corporation SNK’s largest shareholder.
While SNK has struggled at times over the past two decades, the company, best known for its long-running Neo Geo home and arcade hardware, has seen a resurgence through a variety of micro-consoles and successful sequels to fan-favorite franchises like Samurai Shodown and The King of Fighters. As a big fan of the company and their hardware, I can’t wait to see what’s in store when The King of Fighters XV gets its full reveal next month.
So, what about you? Are you excited to see what’s in store when SNK pulls back the curtain on January 7? Be sure to let us know in the comments below.
