Nintendo Download for 11/19/20

Time for adventure!

Nintendo Download | Captain Sabretooth

Well folks, I hope you enjoyed a calmer Nintendo Download last week. Cause there’s more to enjoy this time around! Though there’s not much in the way of rhythm games this time, there’s other great offerings. We have 3 featured titles to check out, a new demo, some fun sales and digital goodies. But first let’s begin by returning to the world of Hyrule.

A beautiful Calamity

Nintendo Download | Age of Calamity

I loved the idea of the first Hyrule Warriors, and Age of Calamity looks tremendous as well. The post apocalyptic vibe is pretty unique for the series. Plus who wouldn’t love riding around in a towering Divine Beast? My only issue with the game is that I have yet to beat the first Hyrule Warriors (not that it stopped me from purchasing all the DLC). If you’re a Zelda fan, tomorrow will be a good day. But that’s not all. While I could care less about war sims, some of you might enjoy Sniper Elite 4. Return to WW2 and put the hurt on some fascists. Lastly, you can finally pick up the Serious Sam Collection on Switch for some classic mayhem. Not a bad bunch, but let’s continue our Nintendo Download with a surprising demo.

If you love mixing exercise with your gaming, then you might appreciate the following:

Bop to the Beat With the Fitness Boxing 2: Rhythm & Exercise Demo – The Fitness Boxing 2: Rhythm & Exercise game launches for Nintendo Switch on Dec. 4, but you can begin playing today with a free demo for the game, available now in Nintendo eShop. Fitness Boxing 2: Rhythm & Exercise is your gateway to personalized in-home workouts set to a full roster of catchy, chart-topping tunes. Try before you buy by warming up with the demo, and then transfer your profile to the full game!

Have your cake and eat it too!

Nintendo Download | Cake Bash

Next up, who loves sales? The following games are discounted a fair bit, and worth a look. SHMUP fans should check out Gemini Arms for only $7.11. If you prefer soaring about, then try Aery – Broken Memories for $7.49. If you need more waifu in your life, there’s Waifu Uncovered. It’s totally ridiculous and mixes waifu with SHMUP mayhem for $5.59. Or for a really good bargain on exceptional weirdness, try Skelly Selest & Straimium Immortaly Double Pack for $5.99. Lastly, if you love old school, you can’t go wrong with Cursed Castilla for $6.99. It does justice to classics and is hard as hell to boot.

A little more cash, a lot more game

Nintendo Download | GRISAIA PHANTOM TRIGGER 05

But wait, don’t leave yet! Here’s 5 more discounted games, albeit a bit more expensive ones. For a quirky puzzle game, try DREAMO for $13.49. Or maybe you’re more of a rogue fan? Then try Metaverse Keeper for $13.49. It’s colorful and different. For something really cool that mixes genres, try Nowhere Prophet. It’s only $12.49 and has really great art design. Or for something darker and no less fascinating, there’s Resolutiion for $15.99. And finally, if you want a weird game with a corpse, try Skellboy for $13. Now let’s close out the Nintendo Download with some digital goodies.

Get ready for the deluge

Nintendo Download | Karma Knight

Buckle up, folks. There’s a TON of digital games this week. For authentic retro, your only option is Arcade Archives GRADIUS II. If you’re a fan of strategy, try these – Eldrador Creatures, Brawl Chess, Star Renegades and WARTILE. For something more frantic, try the following – 2URVIVE, Cake Bash, Flatland: Prologue and SENTRY. 2D platforming fanatics have a trio – Captain Sabretooth and the Magic Diamond, Karma Knight and Micetopia. VN fans can enjoy GRISAIA PHANTOM TRIGGER 05. And for something totally different, try Art Sqool.

So long for now

Pretty good Nintendo Download, if I say so myself. Thanks for joining us here at HPP for your weekly dose of Nintendo goodness. And check back next Thursday for more to enjoy!
