First things first – I’m a Realest
One thing real quick. You all may have noticed the sweet new Featured Image for HPP’s Nintendo Download. That’s thanks to the awesome skills of my colleague Greg Peterson. With any luck, this won’t be the last collaboration between us, so stay tuned! Now for the reason you’re all here, the Nintendo Download itself. This week is a bit short and sweet, but there’s still plenty to enjoy. There’s sales, digital games and some rhythmic titles to check out. Let’s begin with two series everybody should be familiar with.
Can you feel the rhythm?
Who here is familiar with Just Dance and KINGDOM HEARTS? Yea, I thought so. Starting today, Just Dance 2021 is rearing to go. So if you’re dying to bust out some moves, you’ll find a lot to enjoy. Ubisoft’s latest party game features more than 500 songs, and even lets you use your smartphone to track your dancing madness along with the Just Dance Controller app. Which is actually kind of neat. But the next game is the one I’m personally hyped for. I love rhythm games from Square Enix, so it goes without saying KINGDOM HEARTS Memory of Melody is very appealing to me. Especially after I tried out the Switch demo a couple weeks ago. If you’re still on the fence for that one, stick around, since I’ll be reviewing my own copy. Now, let’s continue the Nintendo Download with some worthy sales.
First up, here’s 5 games on sale for less than $10. If you’re a tactical aficionado, you may want to try Steam Tactics for $6.99. It takes elements fans may love and adds adorable animal units. Or perhaps you prefer fancy new editions of old games? Well, Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath is more than half off at $9.99. So you can hunt some creepy buckaroos to your heart’s content. If you dig rogue mayhem and amazing pixel art, then you need to try Black Future ’88. It’s smooth as silk and as dangerous as a katana blade, and it’s well worth buying for $7.99. Puzzle fans might enjoy Yono and the Celestial Elephants for only $7.99. Not only is it adorable, but it’s a worthy challenge as well. And lastly, if you love robots and cannot lie, then try NeuroVoider for $5.59.
A little more cash for some great sales
If you’re looking to spend a bit more cash to get a good sale, there’s still 5 more for this Nintendo Download. Both of the original No More Heroes games are discounted to $17.99. So if you love beam katana mayhem and epic villains, they are definitely worth a try. If you are a fan of dark stories and tactical nuance, try Ash of Gods: Redemption for $16.49. Zelda fans that want a reason to keep playing might really love Sparklite, especially for only $12.49. And lastly, for an old school RPG, there’s Romancing SaGa 3 for $12.17. Overall some great sales this week. Now we’ll close out the Nintendo Download with some digital games.
A pretty good batch
You only have a couple options for classic games this week – Arcade Archives Pettan Pyuu and the Serious Sam Collection. If you feel the need for more music, try Let’s Sing 2021. Puzzle enthusiasts have a couple to check out – Linelight and Unhatched. Or if you prefer games with a focus on story, try Forest Guardian and Vera Blanc: Full Moon. Horror fans might enjoy Apparition. And for a couple games with lots of mayhem, try Metaverse Keeper and Zombie Blast Crew.
