Sakuna | Planting

One of the best parts of covering games is sharing them with you all. When I’m working hard on a review for a game, I love knowing that soon enough our audience will be able to experience things firsthand. Well, today that applies to Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin. Published by XSEED / Marvelous and developed by Edelweiss, it’s an expansive and delightful tale about a immature goddess. She must learn the error of her ways and protect a group of humans in the process. As the daughter of a harvest goddess and war god, Sakuna is more than equipped for this challenging adventure.

The following is a quote from the Edelweiss team – “Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin has been in development for over 5 years, and we couldn’t have done it without our partners at XSEED Games and Marvelous, Inc. supporting our artistic vision. We’re grateful for the positive support we’ve received from media and fans and hope that Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin meets their expectations.”

I thoroughly enjoyed my time with Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin. So much so that not only did I review it, I recently wrote up a handy guide for new players. If you love farming, fighting or just experiencing a robust story with great humor, check this one out. It’s available for PC, Switch and PS4.
